The konstrukteam at the C. Hühnlein Carpentry Shop is presently in the middle of digitizing and industrializing their production. It began in 2014 with the purchase of an edgebander from Holz-Her and then continued with the OSD software; this process continued in 2017 with investment in a TECTRA 6120 power from the plant in Nürtingen. Last year was very special for the carpentry shop in Weikersheim for many reasons. First of all: The shop moved from its very close quarters to new, generous production facilities. This was combined with optimization of complete operating processes and entire job processes. The order volume, which had increased continuously over the years, made this essential. The increased production area also made it possible to invest in new machine technology. Even in the old production facilities, a used edgebander was replaced by a new Arcus 1336 from Holz-Her, taking a great step from craft to industrial production. [...]
Hühnlein decided quite quickly in favor of a Tectra 6120 power: Holz-Her builds terrific, stable machines, he says. Simultaneously, people in Nürtingen are very innovative and will be giving a lot of thought to what the carpentry shop really needs.
